On Saturday, Kerala registered 5,960 new COVID-19 cases and 5,011 retrievals in Kerala. With this, the total number of active cases grew to 68,416 in the state. So far, 7,70,768 of the viruses in the state have been cured. The virus was contracted by touch in 5,403 of the new cases, while 87 came from outside the state. The virus was also confirmed positive by fifty-three healthcare employees.
