NEW DELHI: On Saturday, the Ministry of Health called the first day of the Covid vaccination drive in India a “success” and said no case of post-vaccine hospitalization has been registered to date. On day 1 of the major countrywide vaccination campaign, a total of 1,91,181 beneficiaries were vaccinated for Covid-19, the health ministry said in a message. On Saturday, India started a Covid-vaccination drive led by PM Narendra Modi. The first phase of the exercise will inoculate more than 3 crore health care staff.
